Play Solitaire – The Timeless Card Game
Solitaire is a classic single-player card game that combines strategy, patience, and a touch of luck. The objective is to move all cards to foundation piles, sorted by suit and in ascending order—from Ace to King. Simple to learn but endlessly rewarding, Solitaire is a perfect way to relax, focus, and challenge your mind.
How to Play Solitaire
The game starts with 7 piles (called the tableau) of cards. The first pile has one card, the second has two, and so on. Only the top card in each pile is face-up.
The remaining cards form the stock pile, which you draw from to find playable cards.
You build the tableau by alternating red and black cards in descending order (e.g., black 7 on red 8).
The goal is to move all cards into four foundation piles, one for each suit (♠ ♥ ♣ ♦), starting with the Ace and building up to the King.
Tips & Tricks to Win More Games
♻️ Always Move Aces & Twos to the Foundation
Start by moving Aces and Twos to the foundation piles—this opens up the rest of your cards.
🔁 Flip Face-Down Cards Early
Prioritize moves that reveal hidden cards in the tableau. Uncovering new cards gives you more options to work with.
🧩 Keep an Eye on the Suit
When choosing between possible moves, think ahead. Which suit will give you more flexibility down the line?
🔄 Don’t Rush to the Foundation
Avoid moving cards to the foundation too quickly. Sometimes they’re more useful in the tableau for uncovering other cards.
🃏 Use Empty Columns Strategically
Clear out tableau columns when possible and use the empty space to park Kings—this opens up even more card mobility.
👀 Scan the Tableau Before Drawing
Before drawing from the stock pile, make sure there are no useful moves on the tableau. You might miss key opportunities!
